Interdistrict Transfers
If a resident of the Tracy
Unified School District wishes for their child
to attend a school outside of Tracy Unified
boundaries, the parent/guardian must submit an
interdistrict transfer form to the Student
Services Department located in the Tracy Unified
School District Education Center at 1875 W.
Lowell Ave., Tracy. Transfers are processed,
approved or disapproved on a weekly basis and
forwarded to the requested district. Final
approval is made by the requested district.
If a student wishes to attend a Tracy Unified
School and the parent/guardian does not live in
Tracy Unified boundaries, the parent/guardian
must obtain an interdistrict transfer from their
current school district of residence. The
interdistrict transfer is required for anyone
living outside of Tracy Unified who wishes to
attend a Tracy Unified school.
Interdistrict transfers are granted on a
space-available basis and TUSD reserves the
right to determine whether or not to accept
interdistrict transfer requests. TUSD also
reserves the right to limit the number of
incoming students as well as establish
priorities according to types of requests.
Please call the Student Services Department at
(209) 830-3280 for additional information about
interdistrict transfers.
